As most of you know our power went out at 6:40 a.m. I know the exact time because we were awake at 6:30a.m. opening presents when all of a sudden... Well, it was out until way after we left for the day at 9 a.m. We had fun with the power out though. We lit some candles and had the fireplace going and turned on a lantern that we usually take camping. It was fun to have the snow coming down and the house dark except for a few candles. Now I know how the very first Christmas must have felt. Just kidding, that is no comparison at all. We had a super awesome Christmas this year. We cut back on all the gift buying, as well did most of our families. But, none the less, it was still just as fun as any year before. Now we can't wait for spring. No more snow!!!

We didn't wake up until the sun was already up, so we just had to do without the tree lights on. And coldness, of course.
You guys look so happy in your picture! We did the same thing at our house, and it will be one of the most memorable Christmas' ever. Glad it was fun.
